Referred by my cousin who had eaten there the day before. Perfect breakfast spot a short walk from the hotel. Food is great, timing is great, service is friendly. Next visit may have to try the sushi.
No frills, inexpensive with decent food and coffee. It was easy to walk in, order our breakfast, get our coffee and tea and walk to the counter to pay. Seating was plentiful and the tables/floors were clean.
If there was anything I would fuss about it would be that it seemed like there was only one trash can and it was full/overflowing each time I went to deposit my trash in it. -

Wow. This place is a gem for lunch on Capitol Hill. Fresh sandwiches with board head meat. Great bread. Great slices of tomato. A healthy portion of good turkey.
If you need lunch near Union Station this is a solid place. Very efficient and high quality food. -

Surprise! This place has the best salmon sushi I've had in a long time and I'm from Hawaii where I eat sushi almost on the daily.
We got the salmon lover plate and it was so good we got another. Must try if you're looking for a light lunch. -

I was staying at a nearby hotel and wanted to grab a salad or something light for dinner and found this place nearby. I opted for the "Sea World Salad" (yes, I know...the name is a little disturbing...) which included grilled salmon, peas, oranges and avocado over lettuce. I went with the mango dressing at the suggestion of staff. While nothing terribly exciting, it was good for a quick dinner; everything was fresh, and the salmon, while clearly pre-cooked, was not too dry. I understand the pre-cooking as well given that they are trying to get orders out fast and cooking to order would take more time. The mango dressing was a good recommendation; it did go well with this combination of ingredients.
They have a good assortment of soft drinks and packaged foods as well; I was impressed with the selection of chocolate bars available including some international items. The sandwich selections looked good as well.
Prices are decent for the area; everything is expensive in this part of DC of course! -

I ordered the Chipotle Chicken sandwich on sourdough bread and was not impressed. Cheap, tasteless, dry bread, several lettuce pieces had brown spots and there were barely any tomatoes. Just the chipotle chicken deli meat was pretty tasty.
This place felt to me like a tourist trap since it is one of the few cafes/restaurants in walking distance from the Capitol.
